Tolvaptan inhibits AVP-induced proliferation of ADPKD cells

For our November 2011 podcast listen in as Associate Editor Lisa Satlin discusses our featured article, "Tolvaptan inhibits ERK-dependent cell proliferation, Cl- secretion and in vitro cyst growth of human ADPKD cells stimulated by vasopressin" with Darren Wallace of The University of Kansas Medical Center.  Dr. Wallace has put together a very exciting study as his group examined the effects of graded concentrations of tolvaptan on AVP-induced cAMP production, ERK-mediated cell proliferation, Cl- secretion and in vitro cyst growth of human ADPKD cyst epithelial cells.
