Anti-fibrotic effect of proximal tubule PPARalpha

In September, we would like to highlight a paper from our most recent chronic kidney disease and fibrosis call.  Associate Editor Jennifer Sullivan and Dider Portilla of The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences will discuss his group's recent AJP-Renal publication, "Proximal tubule PPARalpha attenuates renal fibrosis and inflammation caused by unilateral ureteral obstruction."
